On August 5–6, the in-person finals of the Second Guangzhou Smart Healthcare (Senior-Friendly) Equipment Innovation Design Competition, themed "Co-building Smart Manufacturing · Enjoying Silver-haired Life," officially kicked off at the Silver Economy Industrial Park in the Development Zone. Forty-five outstanding entries, selected from 280 submissions from both domestic and international participants, took turns presenting and defending their projects in group sessions. Industry experts, together with “Silver Experience Officers,” conducted a comprehensive, multi-dimensional evaluation on-site to determine the winners of the Top Ten Innovative Design Awards and the Top Ten Product Innovation Awards.

The competition was guided by the Guangzhou Civil Affairs Bureau, Guangzhou Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau, and the Guangzhou Huangpu District People's Government, and hosted by the Guangzhou Huangpu District Civil Affairs Bureau and the Office of the Guangzhou Municipal Working Committee on Aging.
